I am a lover of music. I can honestly say I like everything with few exceptions. So give me your running playlist and we will talk! Your mind is a sponge soak up life!

Running Dad

Barepheet: I am husband and father of twins,a girl and a boy twelve months old. I started running to get in shape so I can enjoy playing with my little ones as they grow from two feet to where ever life might take them. The plan was simple. Run a few miles a week, lose a little weight, and get healthy. Sounds easy until you find that you really enjoy running and a few miles somehow grows to twenty to thirty a week. Running just seem to engulf me. I find time to be very precious. There are many things that a person can lose and eventually get back. Time is not one of them. Now my alarm buzzes at 3:45AM and I am off and running out the door hence the name of this blog 10K before the twins wake. I wanted to start this blog to help fill my hour or so in the wee hours of the morning with thought provoking questions. I like to think about How I can be better dad? what advice am I going to offer to my young ones of life? If I was stranded on a island and could bring only one album what would it be? Questions of that nature. Running seems to be easier when lost in thought. So come on! Lets talk! I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on this thing called life and all it has to offer.
